Our Partners

The Benjamin Harrison Society (BHS) is a leader in true sustainable partnerships involving a diverse assortment of school,  educational clubs, public, private and governmental organization. Partnerships provide BHS with valuable resources and services that it often cannot provide on its own, and also allow for additional civic engagement by citizens whose voices might not otherwise be heard. As public and private schools, trails, museums, and parks the BHS  increasingly find themselves having to do more with less, they must turn to partnerships to fill needs that the museums, historical houses, parks themselves cannot meet, and to help many groups identify with, and support park programs. Fortunately,  BHS  has a strong group of  partners that it turns to for financial, volunteer and interpretive support.

As a partner, you can enjoy all of the regular benefits of  BHS membership, plus wider access to the BHS staff, closer connections with the Local Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Initiatives,  and increased prominence in the STEM  community.
 Benefits

  • Receive an additional 10% off the BHS partners member price for an BHS workshop and a second set of workshop materials for your organization’s resource library.
  • Implement what you learn in BHS workshops through a follow-up consultation by BHS staff.
  •  Set up a consultation with Development, Marketing, Collections, Exhibitions or other BHS  departments.
  • Request the Collections Issues Trunk at no cost and teach your staff and the public about common STEM and historical collections care issues.
  •  Host and set the topic for an BHS  “In Your Neighborhood” meeting or classroom.
  •  Attend partners-only events.
